I have only a 36 gallons tank and I am so tired of daily dosing of calcium. But does it worth the money and risk for a Ca reactor set up? I heard that the PH can drop so much that the tank will be all wiped out if there is something wrong with the set up. Please advise.

either will work unless you are using a ton of alkalinity

i ran a calcium reactor on a 29 gallon

any calcium reactor will work

Thanks and who know if Miwauki PH probe controller and Coralife reactor are good? seems like this is the lowest price combo I can get.

The coralife reactor doesn't seem to get very good reviews

A cheaper and yet highly expandable option for you might be a dosing pump and a 2 part cal/alk additive. I started this thread a few weeks ago in the sps section and was surprised how many people are using a similar setup, and even making their own additives.
