has anyone ever used a hang on refuge system\with light? are they worth the $$ for a smaller reef-----55-75????

for growing macro, to control ammonia and nitrate, they serve the purpose. also provide home for pods. i suggest a DSB if it can handle the weight. some prefer the mud method. REEF-ON!!!

I got a cpr HOB
I like it, but think I shouldn't have used miracle mud as I've heard that it can be phosphate rich.
I've had more green algae on glass lately.
Could be coincidence, not sure.
Most seem to advise LR rubble and chaeto only
