It is very expensive, but if it is as verstile and efficient as they boast, it will catch on and prices will fall.

They are running HO LEDS in the units.

I guess you wouldn't have to replace the bulbs. So I guess in the long run the may be cheaper

I'm thinking you would need 10 years of bulb changes to break even. Replacing 2 MH at $60 a piece = 120x15=$1800, thats changing 2 bulbs every 8months I'm not an economist that doesn't make sense, so they better save a lot of electricity. But what do I care I get cheap electricity because I work at the power plant. The 48" unit cost $2049.00...ouch.

very expensive. im going to wait a couple years for the prices to go way down. the programmable part is amazing. ive already seen this on a couple of places. super bright, less electricity, less heat, etc. here is their site:
