I have some flatworms so I'm trying to kill them off. Now I know the fan worms don't react well to flatworm exit. So i was thinking maybe a fresh water dip. However if they react the same as flatworms to fresh water obviously i don't want to do that.

Im not certain but I dont think any inverts can handle freshwater dips. Im sure someone will correct me if Im wrong.

No, don't FW dip your fanworm. Fish have more evolved osmoregulation systems than inverts, so they can handle a dip. A fanworm would most likely be unable to survive one.

Ok guy's thanx for the input. I guess I'll have to go with the flat worm exit dip and keep a close eye on him.
