my latest water test results
Nitrate 0
nitrite .5 ppm
Alk 0-1.6 <thats low on the chart that comes with the kit
PH 8.2
Amm .25
Salinity 1.026
Calcium 500pmm < not sure about this number, the test i have you have to drop a chemical in to the water and when the water changes you read how much is in the thing and use the chart that comes with it...i put the whole thing in there and it never changed color. last week when i did that test i put in all but 3 drops and gos490 ppm

any way my questions are
1. how do i get my alk up...its been low for three weeks
2. how do i get my calcium where i want it

thanks for your help

Don't add anything unless you test first, then test a few hours after dosing to see where you are at. Never just add anything blindly.
