I caught a doctor fish tang last week while snorkeling in south florida. I used to have a slight hair algea problem on a few rocks in my tank. In the past 8 days my little doctor fish tang I caught has eaten about half of the hair algea! I also atach a piece of the sheet algea on a clip every day sometimes twice for my two tangs. My blue hippo never even touched the hair algea but this new tang I caught LOVES it. I always read about people posting their hair algea problems and this is a great solution.

I have never heard of that tang. Do you have a picture or a scientific name?
