What are some good nano-sized skimmers? I'm thinking in the same size range as the Current USA Fission, only not total junk. Do any other companies make the small skimmers, or would I have to build one?

Didnt AquaC come out with a Nano Remora skimmer? Or is that not out yet?

not out yet, but apparently the only difference between the nano remora and the regular remora is that it's a couple of inches shorter. same width. not really all that helpful.

i just got one thats built into a filter system, its a hang on unit you could probably use on a tank as small as 10 gl but its "rated" for up to like 60gl, plenty of water flow and its a hang on unit, probably all you would need for a small simple nano tank, in addition to good water changes as should be performed anyways. Its called a "Skilter Filter" i think.... ill let you know how well its working once ive tested it im my unit, although i am useing it in conjunction with other filter systems

boy, I really hate to be the one to tell you this, but the Skilter is one of the most hated pieces of aquarium equipment on the planet. usually ranks pretty high on the "worst purchase I ever made" threads. I hope you can get it to work well, though, and buck the trend!

ER 5-2. Get some sump love for that nano! I ran one on a 12g JBJ for a year and it was killer. If you can get a sump figured out, it will open your options, and stability up 10 fold.

I don't know how they work, but Aqua-Medic makes some nano skimmers about the size of the Fission. The Mediflotor is an air-stone skimmer. I believe they also have a pumped version, but I haven't seen it for sale in the US.

Sorry, that's Midiflotor.
