I have 5 small Tridacna derasa (10 cm) and one 15 cm.
Just bought phytoplanton from www.instant-algae.com
a bottle of shellfish diet.

Need advise on how much and how to feed my clams.

At this moment, I mix 10 ml of the shellfish-diet with 1 liter saltwater and drip it for 6 hours in the morning, 3 times a week.

My tank details posted at : http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=858733&perpage=25&pagenumber=1

I would say to put the clams in a bowl of tank water and then cloud that water with phyto or whatever food and then when it is clear put them back in the tank. HTH, Tim

Thanks.
The big one attach to the live rock and can not moved anymore. Should I do target feeding ?

The rest of the clams are on the bottom of my tank also difficult to take it out.

If I drip phtyo directly to the tank, will it increase PO4 and NO3 ?
