Hanging my lights

I have Orbits Compact fisture but i would like to hang my lights cuz its is taking of space on the side for my powerheads, Can anyone give me some advice or tell me if i should even attemp that.

I Could probably hang it from the roof but what i want to know is if i can drill into the top of my light or what type of materials would i need
