How do you clean a hospital tank so that it can be run as a display? I'm only interested in ridding the tank of parasites and other things.

That small of a tank I would tear down and start over with it clean the tank real good with plain water let it sit out in the sun a couple of days should be great.

It's not a small tank. I might be purchasing a 120gal that was used as a hospital tank in a fish store.

Just clean it out. Use some bleach and then let it dry completely.
