tank bowing at the top

i have a 180g that the top part of the glass is bowing out a little bit on both sides of the tank. Is this normal ?

you say glass, but are you sure it's glass and not acrylic? I have seen large (600+ gallons) acrylic tanks with a slight bow in them. I don't think glass tanks should be bowing. How is the tank braced?

One of our 30 gallon glass tanks has a slight bow to it too. I always thought it was just the shape of the glass. So far no problems with it (leaking), but it's a new tank too. I can't help you on weather you should be alarmed or not but will be interested in the replies.
