Ranco Dual Stage Temp. Controller help

I just purchased a Ranco dual stage temp. controller and I am a little confused on setting it. I want my temp. to remain around 76 F and I have two separate heaters. How should I set the controller to maintain this temp. and what differential should I use?

I have the same unit and I put my set point at 78 with a differential of 1 for heating and 1 for cooling, so it stays between 77 and 79.

With 2 seperate heaters (provided they don't exceed the watt limit) can be plugged into an adapter and then into the heating plug turning on/off the heaters together.
