Was at Menards today and they have twin packs of super glue gel on sale for .79 a pack.

Let the frag mounting begin!

Cool,
I usually get them at the dollar store 2 tubes for a buck but it seems runnier than other brands.

I have not opened any tubes I bought yet, I hope it is thick enough.

I'm sure it will be fine. They all work.

I love it when air is in the tube and it shoots all over lol.
Everytime I glue frags my fingers are full and stuck together.

I went to the hobby store and paid the 6$ for the thick stuff... otherwise I got my cheap stuff at big lots, sometines 3 tubes for .79 - only thing was that it was runny. I finally got a chance to do a frag. That Gorgonian I got from Kass last year was long enough to frag into 3 lengths. I tried the runny stuff at first, then got frustrated.

I'm thinking hot glue. Fast cure - faster after you blow on it. and it could go right back into the reef.

O.K. I opened one of the tubes I got from Menards and this stuff us super thick, almost to the point of being like putty.
Got to wonder how old it is? I think it is still pliable enough to still work though.

I would say that thicker is better. I will have to check out a Menards and see if you just got an old batch or if its all that way.

I got a few things of super glue ealier this year from Menards when they were free after a rebate, but I'm almost out. I really liked the stuff, but don't remember how much it is. It's gel so it's thicker, and it's in a hard little container that you squeeze the sides to push the glue out, not a tube. It's really nice cuz it doesn't make a big mess!

I had bought the glue you are talking about and really liked the dispenser, just did not like the price.
