I ordered my lights 2 weeks ago. The item I ordered was out of stock. I realize that these types of situations occur, however I was not contacted by anyone from Hellolights.
I contacted them 5 days later, only to be told that the item was not in stock. The rep was very helpful, and told me that I should have been contacted. I was told the item would be drop shipped from the manufacturer and that I should recieve a package from Hellolights by Thursday of the following week.
I recieved the part of my order from Hellolights as promised. However, when I called to see when I should expect my drop shipped item, I was told that it would not be getting it until Monday or Tuesday of the following week.
I heard great things about the company, and thought the prices were competitive. I feel like I had to call in order to get any information about the status of my order. I did not think that it would take over two weeks to get my merchandise. I realize that there was a holiday in the middle of this time. I just wish that there was more communication on the part of Hellolights. As a consumer, I feel that I deserve to be informed about my purchases.
I would probably reccomend Hellolights to someone else, but I will make sure to tell them that it may not come as soon as they would expect it.

I am sorry to hear about the mistake. Please know that while we take every precaution to ensure this doesn’t happen, occasionally there is an oversight. In order to make it up to you I would like to offer you a store credit.

I was very impressed with the professionalism that Scott exhibited when I called. He was courteous, and accepted responsibility for any mistakes. I did not have to ask for them to correct the situation, they simply offered. I would recommend Hellolights based on Scott's actions. They definitely ensured that I left a satisfied customer. Scott is a credit to the company.
