I have one, no coral in my tank though. They seem quite tame and get along with tankmates. If you have any specific questions regarding the species I can take a crack at it. The only thing I dont know is reef safeness. I have a really cool one that has the blueish pattern, are you familiar with this? Not sure if its related to sex or maturity or something. I will post pics when I get my camera back.

alikatoes- Thanks
My friend has one that is coral safe, but not invert safe of course. I was just wondering what other owners have with them. How aggresive is the fish towords other fish?
When you get a pic, post it if you would.

IME, they're more aggressive than their congener, the pinktail. My destroyed a cleaner shrimp that was well established in the tank before it. They are usually coral safe.

are you guys talking about M. niger or M. indicus. they are quite similar and people get them confused quite often. M. niger is bluer and yellower on the sides and face. indicus is pitch black completly wit hjust some white along the anal fins.
