please ID:
I found these in two different places on the glass, and one place on the rock....seems to be some strange pattern of white eggs....

A different type of egg-sacks that I found on the glass...now there is brown cyano on them, but originally they were just white

I think this is some kind of SPS coral that came as a hitch-hiker on the rocks of my new mushroom coral.....if it is an SPS coral, should I place it near the top of the tank (since I only have PC lights)?

1 I believe are nassarius snail eggs. I'm not sure on the other 2. 3 kinda looks like a rectracted xenia, a soft coral. However, the pic is blurry and hard to tell.

The egg masses in pictures 1 and 2 could be from a wide variety of snails. What snails have been added to the tank?

Picture 3 does look like a soft coral to me, but the picture is pretty blurry.

first pic are snail eggs
second pic might be hydroids (new tanks usually have em)
*might be some little fan/tube worms
third pic looks like more of a soft coral, its blurry though....

You can try leaving the thing in the third pic where it is and see how things go- looks like its trying to live so keep an eye on it.

i have ceriths, turbos, astreas, and nassarius in there. It may have just been passing by, but i saw a cerith very close to the eggs in pic 1, and nassarius close to the eggs in pic 2.

ahh Im pretty sure I seen my ceriths lay those patterns ... usually in after adding them. I didnt have any babies though... I think another snail cleaned em up.

Cerith eggs, likeliest. Maybe strombus grazer eggs on the second one [small hitchhiker snails]. Could be button polyp on the third.

1. cerith snail eggs 100% sure
2. look more like nassarius eggs than any of the others you listed
3. i would go with a baby toadstool as well.

That is exactly what I am thinking. I'm almost positive that #2 are Nassarius Snail eggs. There is a chance that they are Ilyanassa Snail eggs. Are you sure that you have Nassarius vibex Snails? They are often confused with Ilyanassa obsoleta Snails.

My Nassarius vibex produced patterns like those in picture 1.

I have a post about the first type of eggs. was told it was nassarius snail eggs. I read about them and it said they breed very easily now i have lot of new little ones going around the tank. My eggs looked the exact same.

I was told they would get eaten and/or destroyed but some made it into my bakpak and grew from there
