Collected baby Squid tonight

got to be fast, I am attempting to acclimate them to a 12 gal aqua pod. went to shark river NJ and found hundreds of 1/2 inch squid among bait fish fry. pretty neat. collected about 25 or so, reddish color now, very lively. I am trying to drip acclimate them to 2 tanks that i have vacant. any advice?? I will check back.

I read on tonmo.com that pretty much nobody has had success in keeping squid alive in captivity. You might condsider putting them back? What do you plan on feeding them?

Whitebird, I was watching a special about the NCCR (National Centre for Cephlapod Research); in the documentary a staff member stated squid had to be housed in a circular tank to have a chance at surviving in captivity. Maybe you could try housing them in a kids pool or something similar.

That makes sense, because they would have lot's of swimming room swimming around in circles.
