Ok so I have been getting conflicting opinions. In my 65 I Have 20 Hermits, a mix of BLue Leg, and Zebra, actually took out the biggest onses and put them in my fuge, anyway I have 20 Hermits, 4 tubo snails, and a tiny snail looks like hitch hiker astera or somthing like that...and 3 cleaner shrimp.....oh and a ton (at least 30) bristle worms, would you add any more snails or crabs, I know im good with the cleaner shrimp....but what you you do.

i think you are good to go, let everyone get settled in and see what you think. as far as numbers you seem to have enough but we all are different in what we like.

I'm not real sure on the species of hermits you have: I hope they're the sort which never [crab only] exceeds dime-sized. If larger, this can be trouble. I wouldn't recommend more than that number. YOu have to provide them all the next larger shells, which basically means the largest: everybody will stairstep up.

Your snail population could be larger, to help you with the glass. Get varied ones, margaritas, as well as turbos, etc.

ton of bristle worms there...IMO if they're small keep em and they all quite larger (8-10" range) take them out so you have 3-5...up to you they're good to have though

could trade the worms with local reefers for some more snails, seems to be a lot of worms imo.

Is there anything that eats the worms?

I say get more snails but dont listen 2 me, I have yet to even set up a reef tank,

I know though that the hermit crabs you put in your fuge will ruin the point of it, you want a place where the pods and shrimp can reproduce and such with out being eaten in the process, your hermits are definatly going to severely hinder the population growth

if you saw how much pods are in fuge and tank you would flip.....when light come on in morning it looks like woodstock....serious....im estimating hundreds if not thousands
all came with live rock
