how do you get rid of a bunch of green algae, its covering my rocks like a mat..

clean-up crew...snails and most any othe rherbivore

is it really dark, fake looking? like slime? if it is, then i dont know how to get rid of that stuff...i think thats an issue of not having enough flow in the tank...but if its really light green, then its prolly coralline, and if its a kinda hairy algae, just throw in some turbo snails, a few hermit crabs, and maybe some ceriths...that what i got and they keep that stuff minimal..

also i just thought of something...do you have high nitrates or phosphates? these are both reasons for causing algae, along w/not enough flow

and im' not sure a cleanup crew works on the stuff thats really dark green..kinda slimy looking..and to me looks fake lol.
