feeding

Does anyone feed their fish Marine Flakes? I have been feeding my fish flakes for about two years and they are very healthy and active with great color. My question is this, how often do you feed? The directions say to feed 2-3 times a day for 4-5 min.. I only feed once a day but have read that some people feed once a week.

Depends a lot on what kind of fish you have. Some fish need food regularly, some do fine with ocassional feeds.

I have 2 clown fish and 5 damsel fish

I feed the clowns twice a day with what they can consume in about 2 mins each time with frozen food but will feed flakes or tiny pellets occasionally. Clowns take pretty much anything I give them and don't seem to be picky.

btw- I've a pair of O. Clowns and a pair of YSM Clowns.
