This morning I was looking around my tank with a flash light and I saw this wierd grey/brown thing on my rock so I was staring at it and it started to move. This thing looked like if you were to take a turbo snail and slice it from head to tail. It was about 1.5" wide, paper thin, and about 3" long. It looked like it just glided/crawled(I'm not sure) back into the rocks once I had the flash light on it. I didn't have a chance to take a picture and even if I did I don't think anyone would be able to make out what it is because of the coloration and size of the thing. I stopped adding rock about 5 months ago so it's had to of been in the tank a while. Any suggestions or help on figuring out what this thing is would be very helpful. Thank you.

Sounds like a stomatella. If so, its very good. Do a search and compare pics.

It's not a stomatella, I have lots of thoughs as well in my tank. This thing did not have a shell. I'm thinking it may be a nudibranch of some sort just from looking at pictures. I wish I could have seen it's head though. Thanks for the input though.

It is likely one of the Polyclad flatworms. A picture of one of these as bellow. They come in all sizes and colors. I found this picture by doing a Google search, not my picture.

That is what it looks like. Thanks for leading me in the right direction. It's crazy, I didn't even know these things existed.
