I found six or so baby snails in my tank last night..about the size of a pinhead (maybe a little bigger)...their shell is spiral and white with brown striping near the bottom..any clue as to what kind?

They could be strombus grazers.

Tiny snails with white/brown shells sounds like Collonistas. You'll see them mostly at night, they're great little hitchhikers. Think of them like teeny turbos :D
Here's a great article from RK magazine (http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-05/rs/index.php), there's a pic of Collonista snails about 2/3 of the way down.
