i bought 60lbs of lr couple months back and while looking at it this morning w /the lights off i saw a brisel worm the thickness of a pencil and god knows how long over a foot in length but not sure how long. long story short i took my fragging scissors and snipped him in half. is it going to die or heal over? anyone?thanks andrew

They are related to the earthworm, and their head will regrow a tail if you snip it off so...
unless you got the front half of the worm, he will be just fine
but the tail end cut off wont grow a head and become two worms
I just wish some of our pets were as hardy as some of our hitchikers are (atipsia, bristles, etc.)

Ha now you'll have 2 nice big ones in there lmao.
A long time ago I had one of those over a foot big ones.
I made my hubby get it out with a big tweezers and it was trying to get at him the whole time lol.
It was so big he put it in a baggy and froze it in the garage (in the winter).
Thanks god havent seen one of those in a long time.
I think it's diff. species.

I have read a few threads on these and there were some scary pics, I dont remember them being harmful to anything
