well i did it .
seems to be working ok .
got a maxijet 1200 coming
currently using a mini jet 606 that pushes 154 gph. but i think i loose some when you connect a hose to it ( dont know ) somebody chime in on that idea
its the es 6-3 modell with the sedra 5000
so what do you think . i ordered the seals from euroreef $13 dollars for a 1in and a1/2 inch then it was about 1 dollar for a 1/2 piece of pipe and fitting to put in the pipe.

Cool. 2 questions though.

1. Did you drill the whole yourself?

2. What did you drill if with?

...........love the aptasia in the sump, got a few of those my self...lol

yea used a whole saw i think it was a 1 3/4 inch was a milimeter off just a hair but still works fine. but would have prob. been better to let a guy i know about 30 min away to do it he would have done it the way euro does it. for a nominal fee.
