Dont hold your breath. I called Premium not that long ago and they pretty much laughed at me. They thought I was BSing them....so apparently they hadnt even heard of it, let alone have plans to stock them any time soon. If you hear anything please let us know though :P

Well If you are any good at DIY, just buy the pump for that skimmer :P. Thats what I just did. I ordered the Aquabee 2000-1 from Finsreef. IMO they are the closest thing to a reddragon pump you can get w/out spending $800 on the pump alone. I will probably have about $250-$300 into my DIY skimmer when its done, but it should be every bit as good as the Deltec when its finished. Deltec's designs are nothing earth shattering...they get thier power from thier awesome pumps....

I did a deltec diy with the Ocean Runner 3700. I would agree about the 250.00 number. I was considering the Reef Octopus, but what fun is it just to buy something when you can make it and screw up and make it again.
OR 3700 was about 100

The only thing is the OR3700, while its a good pump and draws alot of air, it also creates alot of turbulance because its a 900gph pump. The Aquabee 2000-1 draws the same amount of air at only 600gph. Plus that 3700 is a monster size pump. I dont think I could have even used it if I wanted to :(.

If you are good on DIY, you can mod a Eheim to the needlewheel pump. That is what I upgraded my G2. I am able to skim in 2 days more stuffs than I got with my old pump.. sedra 3500, genx2400, and OC2700. A used Eheim 1260 and a Sedra 5000 needlewheel will cost less than $200. You can check more about the mod here...

I agree about the turbulence. I installed a gate valve on the output side to control this aspect.
