I'm on my second RK1 controller and my temp probe/reading has died on me again. I woke up to my tank at about 67F from the fans being on at full blast all night. the RK was saying it was 88F and trying to cool things down.

This is the second time it has done this on me. (in ~10months or so)

Has this happened to anyone else? and do we know why it did it?

Luckly not much damage was done this time, but I'm afraid if this was to happen in the winter at night it might not be the same outcome.

As I mentioned on the other thread. Go ahead and email support@... instead of Scott if you need email support. Scott is out of the office for awhile. We will see what we can do for you.

FYI guys... I ment to update this sooner.

They sent out a replacement unit right away (UPS ground is so slow! not DA's fault!) and it is working just fine like before!
