xenia head will it grow?

I just purchased a nice frag of Xenia and it attatched and is doing great, however i noticed one of the heads only the fingers of one fell off and is on the other side of the tank. will this peice grow into another frag?

fingers falling off the main head is not a good sign. that can mean it is not doing too well and is most likely MELTING!

it might be open when the lights are on, but still... melt.
