whats the set up size exactly.... your plans sorta lack any type of measurements or specifiecations. but so far you gota a really nice picture.... everything seems correct other then i would make the drain pipe thats in your plant fuge a surface skimmer of some sort and possibly more then 2 baffles :D.

ok...the display tank is 5'l x 2'h x 1'w about 75 gallons
the sump is 30 gallons and the fuge is 20 gallons. What is a baffle by the way?

well you see them 2 black lines right of that AquaC Skimmer, i assumed they were your baffles for the skimmer (plates of glass or plexi-glass made to stop micro bubbles that are made by the skimmer)
heres what baffles look like and do. you can see the blubbles getting stuck to the baffles, clearing the water. Photo courtesy of Kevin Pockell and Reefkeeping.com.

and also, now that im looking at it if that 20gal is the fuge i wouldent put the carbon filter on that, not for any prctical reason, just all that stuff is best in your sump... if you have one might as well use it and not have that ugly carbon filter by your fuge.

You might also consider feeding the drain from the fuge directly to the return pump, rather than let it flow through the skimmer. More pods, etc, would make it into the main tank.

Here are the equipments I am about to buy from marine depot. Does anyone oppose these? just let me know.
AquaC EV-120 Protein Skimmer with Rio 2100 Pump $332.95
Korallin C1502 Calcium Reactor with Eheim Pump $386.98
CPR CS90 Overflow Box $87.99
I have an RO/DI system already so I think I have everything needed to get start.
By the ways thanks guys for your help. I really appreciated it.

RIO pumps......pure crap...it burnt out in my tank and killed half of my coral......get an ASM G3 it is better and cheaper

ok I change the order to a super mag drive 7 for the skimmer and a super mag drive 7 for powerhead. Does anyone know where I should drill the hole in the return line to prevent food? Please look at my new plan and tell me what you think.
