After looking through my pictures I realized how bad most of them are so I had some friends help me out. Here is a quick view of what a real photographer can do:)

This one obviously has nothing to do with reefkeeping but I know at least a few of you are into reptiles as much as I am. This a ball python clutch of mine, that hatched out this week and Lennette was able to get them as they were coming out of the egg. Just thought I would share this so I can bring the fellow "reef and reptile geeks" into the conversation:)

Here is a picture of the SUMP for the system 80 and the REA 120 PLUS with the AQUASTOP sitting next to it. A few people have asked me about the AQUASTOP and I thought I would get a picture of it. It is simply a solenoid that works on the outside of the tubing and this particular AQUASTOP has controls for duration and intervals. The AQUASTOP without the controller (not pictured) is for people with the Biotopus II who have these functions built in and do not need the controller on the unit.

Finally, a picture of a calcium reactor system by Elos. We also make the EV2000 that is not pictured but is in the thread titled "CO2 parts". This picture shows our REA 120 plus, AQUASTOP, Ca Pur media, "conta" bubble counter, check valve and CO2000 plus regulator. Because the REA line of reactors is so new to the US most people do not realize that this reactor can be run both with the flow going from top to bottom or as a fluidized reactor. As it is shown here it is running as a standard gravitational (top to bottom) reactor but it is very easy to switch this to run it fluidized if you prefer. Our media is designed to run at ph around 6.4 and is very pure. The regulator is pictured without gauges and 1 needle valve but more can be added to separately control other tanks, if you choose. Ok that is it for now but I will probably add a few more pictures as I get them. Let me know if you have any questions.

Jesse-
You don't use Kevin's patented egg tearing technique?
Is there a base available for the reactor?

Nice! I'll have to go over that technique with Kevin. Actually after about day 45 I have to hide all razors in the house to keep me from taking a peek. There is no base but it wouldn't be a bad idea. I like the idea of saving floor space so I would probably make some sort of removable mount so I could fix it to the inside of the cabinet. Now that I think of it, the REA 120 has a different bubble counter and I believe there is a place on it to mount it to the cabinet wall. You could also set this inside the sump but I think most people will keep it external to show it off:)

I think my sump shot is better. Wouldn't you agree.

Check out the bokeh in this shot. :eek1: (that is a fancy photographer term like f-stop)

I will show my friend your technique for properly hiding cords before you take the shot:lol:

Actually I usually charge, but go ahead. And feel free to use it for your brochure cover. ;-)

wow, that sump / ca reactor and protein skimmer looks amazing. I think I'll want to stick with your sump parts rather than going with my own after seeing it setup like that.
