View Full Version : A question for Canadians

After 5 years in the US, my wife and I are moving back to Canada. When we moved to the US, I couldn't get over how accessable everything was with respect to reefkeeping. If it was available, I could buy it. I could even shop around for the best price. I had kept a reef tank for 6 years in Canada prior to moving to the US, and finding equipment and livestock was VERY difficult back home.

So I'm back to the east coast... the barren wasteland of equipment and livestock. The good news is that I'm armed to the teeth with equipment that will last a lifetime. The bad news is that I'm going to have to leave many of my inhabitants with members of my local reef club before moving back.

So, I ask my Canadian reefkeeping counterparts, Where can I purchase quality SPS and clams in Canada? Are there any good forums? Any links would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
-Rob

I've heard nothing but good things from fragfactory in regards to corals. They are located in Mississauga, Ontario.

And some Canadian forums include:

J&L, Ocean Aquatics, Aquarium Illusions, and Reefraft are all very good coral and equipment dealers

I went to Aquarium Illusions today!

I bought my Deltec APF600 from J&L aquatics. Cheaper than it would cost to get it from Deltec USA.

Big Als also has some nice livestock usually.

This is good thread for people in Canada.

Thanks for the links!

I've ordered from JLaquatics in the past, as well as Haspen marine, and MOPS.

I'll check out those forums. Thanks!
