i want to know what makes them 70$ different.

icecap (http://www.reefgeek.com/products/categories/lighting/104430.html)
sunlight supply (http://www.reefgeek.com/products/categories/lighting/104064.html)

they seem to be the same exept the ballast. seems like the reflectors are different to.

oh yea, i also intend to add 1 or 2 more t5 lights to the fixture when i have more money. im making a costom hood so additions will be expected.

can either of these ballast handle 6 lights or would i need another ballast?

The Icecap ballasts are worth the money.
If you want to go to 6 bulbs, you'll need another ballast as was stated above.

ballast and reflectors.

sunlight supply will upgrade the reflectors to icecaps if you want.

icecap=more power, but no dawn to dusk effect if you are running 4 bulbs.
sunlight supply comes with two ballast, one for 2 bulbs. weigh the options

There is a significant difference between the reflectors, as well. I have both on my current setup and you can easily tell which are the IceCap reflectors, even on a Triad or Worhorse ballast.
