Power compact lighting

I have metal halides but wanted to try out some Compacts will they work?

I actually have 2 48" odyssea's. But the bulbs in them are just garbage.

What bulbs would you reccomend? wattage and 10,000K or what?

I have mainly fish right now with some frogspawn and Zoo's.

Who sells bulbs as a resonable price?

What are good and cheap replacements and what site?
