Will T5s melt a DIY vinyl hood?

Can you describe the setup more? Would the T5s be in contact with the hood, etc? What kind of T5 fixture is it?

i would think not..specially if you put a fan on there it should be good...my pc's are kinda cool to the touch because i have a 10" fan blowing accross thema and the water..now heat at all...but idk..t5's may be much hotter

I was at a lfs the other day and i could hold the t5 with no problem I dont think you will have a problem
