found this on my rock. please help for an id and is it reef safe.

its a bumblebee snail. eats algae and reef safe. REEF-ON!!!

They are a meat and detritus eater. I would not trust them in my tank.

Not quite so fast. They are a questionable addition for a reef tank. They will eat all the animals in the sand and rocks that are beneficial to your tank. They will also prey upon your other snails.

They will go after other snails if there is not enough detrius for them. You would be taking a risk putting it in.
