Fish Dip Success Rate??

If I were to dip new fish with Seachem Paraguard or Kordon's Formalin 3 would it irradicate any disease or would a series of dips be necessary. Debating weather to dip and place in the main tank or dip and QT or not dip and QT. Thanks

The dip might remove some parasites and diseases, but I don't think it's a replacement for quarantine. Doing both is probably the most effective, if the fish can handle the stress.
