Blue line grouper

This thread is to get any user experience in keeping one of these guys. He likes do stay low and he always seems nervous. He eats very well. Are these noctural predators? Also I am in the middle of hyposaltanity treatment and the grouper sometimes will show light colored blotches and sometimes will lose a lot of his color, but gets it back quickly. I have seen him show the blotch circles all over his face and body and then he went in a cave and came out and he didnt have them anymore.

I just have not really read about anyone keeping these guys on the forum and would like some insight. :)
