Has anyone used this product?
I heard it clouds your tank up pretty bad.
Does it work? Is it worth it??

I've always heard that it is just basically a calcium booster. If your calcium levels are ok, then it probably won't help too much.

Didnt know if anyone ever tried this supplement before.
Probally just something else to sit on my shelf and not get used more than once. I was just hoping this could make the coraline spread and make cool colors and make my tank bigger and make everything beautiful and make my fish talk.
Sorry, I had some caffeine after 10:00pm...shouldnt have done that.
But seriously, has anyone used this product?

HI there.
Yep i used it for awhile and apparently got a really bad bottle. It shot my ph through the roof. When i spoke with them they had stated that the make a ph buffer as we'll and maybe something went wrong. They did send me a new bottle and i don't see any difference than a regular calcium supplement. It tells you to use daily. Yah not a good idea. It will shot you calcium into obscene ranges. Basically imo nothing special and no it won't make your tank all pretty and bigger and you fish talk...lmao

Yah it was kinda crappy trying ti figure out where the high ph came from.
Test your water for calcium and see where it is sitting at. It should be between 350-450ppm if i remeber correctly. Mine is now usually at about 425.
I just use Reef complete.
Do test your dkh though. That should be between 9-11...(Someone please correct me if i am wrong.)
Mine is always at 11.
I find i need to add calcium maybe every1.5-2 weeks. Mine stays pretty steady.
Others opinions may very though.
Just my mo...:)

I use once a week, and it is a basic calcium suppliment, with iodine and magnesium, there are alot of variables, of which I am no expert but just using a bit of logic figured it works for me. I use IO salt, reportedly low in Mg, i dose daily with Ca, as I have softies its not a big deal but I have alot of coraline algae, which I know uses Ca. In any case it helps but I use once a week and use kalkwasser, as my daily suppliment.

It is really up to you. It did not cloud my tank, but it probably contributed to getting my chemistry out of whack. I discontinued it use after a short period of time. I ended up using Kent Marine Turbo Calcium and Seachem Marine Buffer to balance out CA, Alk, and Ph. Once things were balanced out I switched to b-ionic 2 part Ca supplement. Other than adjusting the dosage, the tank chemistry has never been better.

Whatever you use, you should dose daily and coraline and corals will begin to grow. Unfortunately, if you have no patience, this hobby will teach it to you. Everything takes time (and a lot of it) and money.

I'm using it daily, at night as it does cloud the water for about half an hour. I was having problems keeping Ca up, and this has done the trick (for now). It's a Coraline accelerator, and it does that. I'm seeing results after two weeks, helps if you have at least some Coraline to begin with.
