Lighting on 150gal 72" tank

I am moving everything from my 90 gallon 4ft to a 150 gallon 6ft tank. I am trying to think of a way to utilize 2 250watt de metal halides.

Anyone running this way with success? I also am using 3 power compact bulbs for actinic supplementation.

I was thinking of having a valley in the center of the tank with lower light inhabitants. Then have the halides at both ends of the tank.

Anyone think this would work and look ok?

I think that would work fine--just build up the rocks on either side under the halides. Or, you could just get another retro kit and throw it in the middle and be done with it.
