ive seen that you can mix species of tank-bred clownfish without issues?

is this true? i was looking at an ocellaris and a black and white perc... if both are tank bred will they coexist?

Im gonna say its hit or miss depending on tank size(the bigger the better they can both have thier own territory). If you put anenomes youd need at least two hoping that they plant on oppsite side of the tank.I personaly wouldnt practice this but if thats what you want then thats what you want.Try it out see what happens.Good luck.

No, it is not true. It is rare and difficult to have success with multiple species in the same tank. Almost all but the largest tanks fail at housing multiple species long term. Lucky for you, the common name "Black and White Percula" often actually refers to A. ocellaris. So, in your case, you could get an A. ocellaris and an A. ocellaris Black Variant and probably do fine. Just make sure that only one, or neither of them, are females. Please research all the stickies and links located at the top of the Anemone & Clownfish Forum (http://reefcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=36)

Also Maroons can be the most aggresive of the clowns even in a mixed tank!
