Forgot about this guy until I found it on my desktop in a To Be Edited folder.

Could have been better but still good (mushroom got in the way).

Taken with my A620 without an add on lens (haven't really used my Raynox Lens alot):

LOL-2nd person who's mentioned that.

For scale-the substrate particles are sugar and slightly larger sized granules. ;)

But I am thinking of picking up some king crab legs. Esp. if this makes it into the Masna calendar (no chance with the talent around here but it's still a great shot for me :)).

I'm not sure of all the functions on your camera, but you'd be able to get more detail and depth of field out of the photo if you shot with a higher F number for your aperture setting. That way more of the crab will be in focus.

Yep-A620 so I could have adjusted it but by the time I got to this guy I was tired of tweaking it for every shot. :)

Unfortunately the camera was stolen from my g/f's condo a couple months ago. :( Waiting on insurance sucks. :(
