I am moving one tank to another larger tank and in the process I found this under one of my rocks. Any idea what it is? I am not so worried about what it is, as I am wanting to know if I should transfer it or toss it. Dont want to kill something harmless, but also dont want to transfer something bad. THANKS!

too small to tell...could be some algae form i guess, but i guess it could be some sort of coral..i cant really see the texture of it...but it kinda looks like little polyps? maybe a coral?

I am by far a good photographer with this stuff! But yeah, its not attached to anything hard. Looks like a sponge, but then its got those little polyps or nibs sticking out. This thing would easily fit inside a thimble. Its soft and.....well spongy.

Are tree coral soft when small?

Maybe a small Dendro?

Dendro? I looked around for mention of that but found nothing, can I get a full name?

so overall, are we thinking this is not a 'bad' thing and I should transfer it?
