I have a 36 corner saltwater tank and would like to know if it's ok to clean the algae off my glass. I see alot of tank pic's with coralline alage on it and was wondering if it's ok to leave my glass clean. If anyone run's a tank with clean glass please post the pro's or con's in doing so. Also if you can post pic of tank with no alage on the glass. Thanks

I have no pictures to provide, but keeping the glass all clean isn't going to hurt anything. Most people don't clean the back glass out of difficulty more than anything.

Cleaning the glass is a pain, so poeple leave to covered. The only thing keeping the glass clean will do is make the tank look cleaner overall. If you don't mind the hassle, go for it!
There are a lot of good tank pics in here you can check out...

If you have a glass tank, one of the Kent scrapers-on-a-stick will power that stuff right off. I run with plain glass, and find that scraper, a mag float, and a common razor blade all useful.

I keep mine pretty clean but don't mind it on the overflows... If my tank was only viewable from one side I would be inclined not to care about the coralline though.
I use a credit card too, and a razor blade on the really tough areas.

I use a my drivers license. It does not have a magnetic strip. I don't want to damage my credit card. ;)

I get credit cards in the mail almost every other day. I got a stack of unactivated cards that I use to scrape the glass.
