Powerhead Suggestions

Any thoughts on what i should get to replace my Hagen Aqua Clear 30 powerhead that just died on me? I was thinking about getting another Hagen but the bigger 70 version. Any input would be appreciated.

Knowing what you want to keep in your tank will help you decide size and price of power head to get. For example a FOWLR won't require nearly the flow as a 58g full of SPS. I probably wouldn't go any less than 2 Seio 820's in a 58g. An 820 is only 18w and produces a more dispersed flow, but they are more pricey and not recommended for a wavemaker. I would suggest getting what's economical in wattage and price for you, but sufficient in flow for your tank's inhabitants.
