I havent touched my fuge in like 6 months and in that time i have got alot of sea weed in it and now its to the point to where u cant look through the side of it anymore so does this need cleaned and weeded out or do i just let the sea weed contiune to grow?

Most people prune it back to stimulate new growth.

prune it. That exports (removes) the nutrients that the plants have used to grow. Then as more grows back you just do the same. Great way to remove unwanted nutrients in your tank.

The pods come back after pruning. I used to stress over throwing even one pod out when pruning, I would spend an hour looking through all the macroalgea before chucking it... now it doesnt get a second glance.
