Hi, On my new set up I have incorporated an above stream fuge where i intend on growing Chaeto abd gracillaria....( for the tangs and nutruent export ) Will running any sort of phosphate remover ...be it a reactor or pad or what have you.....be a contradiction and rob the algaes in the fuge of the necessary nutrients?

I run both on my FOWLR. Reactor w/Rowa and a large fuge.

I have a 20 gal fuge and a phosphate reactor incorporated in it. Works like a charm. No more noticeable algae in the tank.
