Hey peepz,

I was researching a bit on keeping octopus and came across that they are escape artists and a tightly sealing tank is nessesary. I was wondering, if a HOB filter was used, wouldn't this make it impossible to seal the tank completely as there needs to be a path for the water to flow from the filter to the tank? Or would you seal with tape over the entire filter and tank lid? How would one go about sealing such a setup? (Excluding the fact that a hood could be used) Thankz for any help

astro turf ay? so i assume simply putting that around the edging of the tank will suffice? and will that gaurantee no escapism? or merely lower chances? ><

thankz:smokin:

it will lower chances but with a decent hood it will work

if you just putt it in the flow of the hob filter then it should stop the lower the chance of the octo escaping
