I just got the 57watt Aqua UV http://www.aquadirect.com/store/product.php?productid=726&cat=313&page=1

I didn't get directions. Can anyone help me out with it?

Uhm, I don't think the in/out matters. It can flow either way. Usually you put in the bulb, make sure everything is secured appropriately (the o rings for the bulb etc...) and don't turn the bulb on for prolonged periods without water flow. I think it's supposed to burn the bulb out prematurely if you do that.

Personally, I would make it easy to take in and out of service. If you hardplumb keep that in mind. You need to clean and bulb change relatively regularly to keep the units working well.
