Hi... I am considering buying 2 MH pendants for my 125g reef tank.

Anyone know how I would go about hanging these pendants? Is there some kind of bracket that I can install on the wall to suspend these, or do they need to attach to the ceiling? My apartment ceiling is made of that stucco crapola stuff... you know the stuff where if you run your hand over it, it crumbles and falls off (cant remember what is called)... so something that mounts on the wall would be great. Any ideas?

You could do what I did, and attach some bent metal pipe to the back of your aquarium stand, and hang the lights from it.
Here are a couple of pictures.
It is 3/4" metal conduit.

Hey that's pretty cool I'd like to do the same thing. Did you bend the pipes yourself? Could you also show how you attached the pipes to your stand.

I had a friend (electrician) bend the pipes for me. I attached them to the stand with pipe clamps from Lowe's.

Where did you get the tubing? Is bending it something you can do in a garage? With a blowtorch?

They make a tool just for bending conduit. It's special because it won't collapse the pipe.

Electricians and plumbers use them all the time. I haven't priced one of them lately, but I think they're pretty cheap.

90's like that are pretty easy to do, hell you might even be able to just do those 2 bends in the store.. tell em you wanted to umm test the bender.
