I tend to be a little more generic ... my clown is named "Orange Fish" and my coral beauty is "Purple Fish". Sometimes if either fish is in a strange mood, their names temporarily become "Weird Fish" or "Crazy Fish". Collectively, I refer to them both as "Fish Dudes".

When I used to have a FOWLR, I named everyone, including the turbo snails.

I donated most of them when I decided to go reef. From then on, I just didn't name them anymore.
