hey all, cant get any replies on any of my other posts for help w/my setup. I know some of you have done your own MH hoods with success. Did you follow a guide? can i get a link to a step by step MH hood build? I have a 55 gal aquarium i need to build a hood/lighting system for that will support all kinds of coral. please help someone, thanks

two actinics each side... two MH spaced in five points... each end and the middle, are three points. side to side are two points. from the center point, go half way to the one end. half way from each side to the center. (that is the center of even spaced MH on one end) repeat the other end. thats as simple as i can explain it without drawing it. REEF-ON!!!

Try here....you can modify for a MH with PC or T5 blue support. And, remember to put two fans in so that head would be blown out.

I built this hood with MH in mind. Its not too detailed but I found it pretty easy.
